Vintage Bar Cart American Style

One of my favorite color schemes to decorate with is Red, White, and, Blue and what better time of year to pull the triple combo off then for the Fourth of July. I can't resist vintage decor and when I scored this vintage bar cart at a local tag sale I knew it had to come home with me, the price was right too, just $4o!

Who doesn't love free flowers, well, technically not free, cut from my back yard. I love this time of year when I can have the beauty of beautiful blooms at my finger tips. I also said if I were ever a wealthy millionaire , I would have fresh cut flowers in every room. So, I know thats not happening, so this will do. I love to style florals and even style florals for weddings along with renting couples our curated collection of rental decor to bring vintage, rustic, and elegant style to their special day. Using home decor accessories for a vase is perfect when it's as stunning as this oriental ginger jar.

When styling a small vignette its best to stick to the design principles of the Rule of Three. The human eye is drawn to odd numbers and decor that is varied in height and textures. Here I placed the number 4 and a small American flag amongst the floral blooms for a subtle nod to the upcoming 4th of July. " G" is for Glory and the mini books spell out The " Home of the Brave".

Styled on the lower level of my vintage bar cart are some

of my favorite finds , a vintage soda spritzer , a pair of cobalt blue goblets and English Bone China blue and white plates. A cut crystal decanter adds a touch of class and reminds us of the true purpose of the bar cart.

Flowers, they just make me smile and add so much visual interest and beauty to any room. It's difficult to top Mother Nature and whenever you can bring the beauty of the outdoors inside. Not to mention the added benefit of the sweet aromas of the Peonies, Roses, and Honeysuckle. If you love to entertain over the 4th, this cute car cart can be placed out side with a signature cocktail on it or style it with some retro glass soda bottles or a mini candy bar. The possibilities are endless! Most importantly, enjoy time with friends and family and God Bless the U.S.A.
